Certificates of Specialization
University of Richmond School of Law offers students the opportunity to obtain specialized certificates in Family Law and Intellectual Property. These certificates are awarded at graduation along with the J.D. diploma. Transcripts will also reflect completion of the concentration program.
Earning a certificate is similar to completing a major or concentartion as an undergraduate student. A student must take a fundamentals course followed by a certain number of additional credits from a prescribed list of courses.
