LLM and LLM/MBA Curriculum

Students pursuing an LLM degree are required to take U.S. Legal Research and Writing and The U.S. Legal System during their first fall semester. Other course selections should be made in consultation with your adviser. (Learn more about the addmissions process for the LLM program).

For the LLM/MBA program, students take classes over two academic years and the summers in between. Students take courses in both programs during both years, and need a total of 30 credits in the MBA program and 24 credits in the LLM program. In addition to the two required law school courses, students must take Business Associations unless a waiver is appropriate based on prior experience/education. (Learn more about the addmissions process for the LLM/MBA program).
