Dual Degree Programs: Master of Social Work
A student who is accepted into the dual degree program will be permitted to count one semester's work in the law school toward meeting the graduation requirements in the School of Social Work at VCU, and one semester's work in the VCU School of Social Work will be counted toward meeting the graduation requirements of the law school. This will enable participants in the dual degree program to complete the requirements for the J.D. and the M.S.W. in four years. Applicants for this program are required to meet admission standards of both the law school and the VCU School of Social Work.
