Aid & Scholarships

The University of Richmond is proud of the generous support it has and continues to receive from its donors in support of our financial aid program. The University of Richmond School of Law offers both merit- and need-based financial assistance to its students. The merit scholarship program is administered by the Admissions Office and the need-based programs are administered by the University's Financial Aid Office.

All applicants for admission are considered for merit scholarships. Awards are based on undergraduate academic achievement and aptitude for the study of law. No separate application form is required. Recipients are contacted in March. Scholarships are awarded when a student enters the first year of law school and are renewed yearly based on satisfactory academic progress.
