Transfer Students
Generally, a few students are admitted as transfer students after the first year of study at another law school. If you are applying to transfer to this law school, you must comply with the general application instructions. In addition, you must obtain a letter from the dean of the law school you are presently attending stating that you are in good standing and eligible to continue your studies there. An official transcript showing your first-year grades and your class standing at the end of the first year must also be supplied.
If your school will permit, you may send a photocopy of your LSDAS Report including your undergraduate transcript(s). If you are accepted, it will be necessary for you to furnish an official transcript from your undergraduate insitutiton showing the award of your undergraduate degree. It will also be necessary for you to submit an official transcript from the law school you are presently attending.
