Alumni Benefits
Alumni of the University of Richmond School of Law enjoy a variety of benefits through both the Law School and the University.
Law School alumni are invited to participate in a variety of alumni events through the External Relations Office at the Law School (for law school alumni), as well as through the University of Richmond’s Alumni Office (for all Spiders).
Events include social and networking, cultural, sports, educational, and student-alumni both in Richmond and throughout the country. Additionally, alumni are invited to participate in a variety of conferences, lectures, and symposia offering CLE credit throughout the year.
Event information is distributed through our monthly alumni newsletter (beginning Jan. 2012) and is available on the Law School’s website. Information on general UR alumni events is available on the URAA website.
The Law School’s Career Services Office is here to assist you as you develop your career and make professional and geographic moves. CSO counselors are available for one-on-one counseling, as well as resume and cover letter reviews. Career search resources are available in the office and online, and alumni may access job postings online through the Symplicity career management system. Visit the Career Services Office for additional information about career support for alumni and to volunteer as a mock interviewer, career program panelist, informational interviewer, or mentor.
UROnline is a web-based community where you can search for and reconnect with fellow University of Richmond alumni.
The William Taylor Muse Law Library facilities and services are available to local attorneys. Visitors may register with the Circulation Desk staff by presenting a bar card. The Lewis T. Booker Attorneys’ Study is a quiet space for attorneys to conduct research and to use library resources. Please check with the library for hours of operation and additional policies and services.
Alumni enjoy an additional year of free membership to the Weinstein Center following graduation. Additionally, alumni can join the Weinstein Center for $350/year for young alumni who graduated within 10 years, $500/year for an individual membership, or $850/year for a family membership. Check out Weinstein Center’s Member Services for additional information and policies.
Alumni can take advantage of a wide variety of educational opportunities, including the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute and School of Professional & Continuing Studies. Course options include online marketing for your business, public speaking workshops, foreign languages, golf instruction, culinary arts, and many more.
Stay overnight in the Bottomley House at the Jepson Alumni Center whenever you come to campus or book the center for private functions.
