Support Richmond Law
Living Greatly in the Law Campaign
The vision of the University of Richmond School of Law is to “Live Greatly in the Law,” featuring programs that integrate theory, practice and public service. The law school’s comprehensive Strategic Plan presents a roadmap for national prominence by the academic year 2010. Central to the success of the plan is a building addition, which will be named the Judge Robert R. Merhige Jr. Law Pavilion to honor one of Richmond’s most esteemed and beloved graduates.
Specific goals outlined in the law school’s Strategic Plan include:
- Double the total financial aid awarded to students to ensure a student body that is exceptionally well-qualified and diverse
- Increase dramatically the size of the instructional faculty
- Create a pro bono service program
- Forge interdisciplinary partnerships with other campus units
- Enhance further the technology and information services programs
- Execute an aggressive marketing campaign to highlight achievements, programs and the excellence of the UR law program
- Develop specialized academic centers to foster research, public outreach and concentrated educational opportunities
- Participate actively in the local community
Annual Giving
The Law School is thriving today in large part because of the past generosity of alumni and friends like you. To maintain and grow the level of excellence that we all strive for in the areas of faculty scholarship, student life, academic programming, technological advancements, financial aid, and so many other areas, the Law School relies on your continued annual support.
Please consider a gift to support the day-to-day life of the Law School and designate it as you see fit, using the Other Designation Information, Gift Comments, etc. box in the form linked below. If you wish the Law School to use your gift for best purposes, please indicate “Dean’s Discretionary Fund." Note that you may choose a one-time gift or set-up reoccurring drafts to your accounts. We hope this offers you greater flexibility in giving. Questions about annual gifts can be directed to Cindy Stubbe, Director of Alumni Relations, (804) 289-8029 or cstubbe@richmond.edu.
THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING RICHMOND LAW!
