BLSA serves as a strong basis for academic support and
professional networking. Through these objectives, we hope to make the law
School program a learning experience outside the classroom and to equip
students with the necessary tools to make a difference once law school has

Mentoring Program
Designed
to pair first year students with practicing lawyers from the Old Dominion
Bar Association to provide one-on-one support and the critical feedback
necessary for the tumultuous first year.

Material Resources
BLSA maintains a limited, but increasing supply of textbooks
and study aids available for BLSA members throughout the year which helps to
defray the cost of books and study aids.
