Career Services for Alumni

The Career Services Office enjoys meeting and getting to know all alumni of Richmond Law. We like to keep in touch with you as you develop your career and make professional and geographic moves. Please call or stop by at anytime to let us know what is going on with you, your family and your career.

For alumni who are thinking about or researching a career change, we offer many services:

  • All job postings for graduates of Richmond Law are compiled and made available online via the career management system known as Symplicity.  You may access Symplicity by contacting the Career Services Office and requesting a password.
  • A CSO counselor is available for one-on-one counseling and discussions if you simply request a meeting. We are also happy to review your resume and/or cover letters. To request a meeting, call the Office, stop by or e-mail us.
  • We also have a variety of written resources available in the resource section of our office, which can be checked out for review and use.
  • Certain tests such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the Strong Interest Inventory also can be arranged by the CSO staff at a nominal charge. Let us know if you are interested.
  • Our Handbook also provides insight into the “Self Assessment” process in the “Career Planning and Preparation” section. Please call or e-mail the CSO for a password if you would like to review this information.
  • If you are looking to make an out-of-state move, the CSO can request reciprocal services or reciprocity from the career services office of another ABA-accredited law school for you. If you are interested, please stop by or call our office and discuss your interest with a staff member.
  • Our job search resources may also be valuable to you.

Please contact us at any time with your questions.
