Job Postings and Resume Collections

All job opportunities or requests for resumes submitted to Richmond Law are made available to students and alums through the Career Services Management Program Symplicity. These postings include useful information such as the names of hiring partners and/or recruiting coordinators, mailing and e-mail addresses, web site locations, positions and/or locations for which the employer is interviewing, hiring criteria, interview dates, classes (1L, 2L or 3L) they will interview, length of interviews, and materials the employer requires from each student.

Job opportunities are considered either “Resume Collect” or “Resume Direct” postings. For “Resume Collect” opportunities, students submit a “bid application” online through Symplicity along with any supporting materials requested by the employer (grade list, cover letter, references, etc.). After the deadline submission date, all resumes submitted by students are sent electronically by the Career Services Office to the employer. The employer contacts students directly to schedule interviews at their office. For “Resume Direct” postings, students forward their resume and supporting materials directly to the employer either by mail, fax or e-mail, as indicated on the employer’s posting.

Job postings are added, as well as updated, on an ongoing basis. Students should check the website frequently.
