Mid-Atlantic Juvenile Defender Center
Seeks to change the culture of juvenile justice by ensuring excellence in juvenile defense and promoting justice for all children in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Puerto Rico, Virginia and West Virginia.
National Association of Appellate Court Attorneys
Provides educational, networking and professional development opportunities for staff attorneys, judges’ law clerks and other attorneys employed by appellate courts.
National Center for Family Law
Serves as the umbrella organization for
the Children’s Law Center and the Law School’s component of
the “Richmond Families Initiative” – a partnership with
UR’s Center for Civic Engagement. The NCFL fosters research, scholarship,
reports, conferences, symposia, legislative testimony, and other forms of
public participation and discourse on issues related to Family Law.
Robert R. Merhige Jr. Center for Environmental Studies
Engages in research, instruction and public outreach on energy and environmental issues in the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond.
