Family Law: The Jeanette Lipman Family Law Clinic is an in-house clinic that provides legal assistance to families and children in the city of Richmond. Areas of representation include abuse and neglect, divorce, custody, child in need of supervision/services (CHINS), public benefits, housing, and domestic violence. The Jeanette Lipman Family Law Clinic is located at University of Richmond Downtown, the University's downtown campus located at 626 East Broad Street. Several GRTC bus routes stop near the clinic. Normal business hours are Monday–Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please call 804-955-4011 for assistance.
Intellectual Property: The Intellectual Property and Transactional Law Clinic is a teaching law firm sponsored by the University of Richmond School of Law. The clinic is staffed by a team of upper-level law students who are trained in intellectual property and business law issues. Due to the unexpected passing of the Clinic's founder and supervisor, Professor John Carroll, the Clinic is temporarily on hiatus and is not accepting any new clients. The Clinic's work will resume when a new supervisor is found.
