| Essay Topic: Entries must be submitted in the English language on a subject of practical concern lawyers engaged in the defense or management of hte defense of civil litigation, such as, for examples, relevant aspects of tort law, insurance law, civil procedure, evidence, damages, alternative dispute resolution procedures, and professional ethics. |
| Prize Information: $2,000 First Place $1,000 Second Place $500 Third Place Honorary metions receive no monetary awards. |
