"Raising the Stakes for Public Interest" Auction and Casino Night

Please join us for the annual "Raising the Stakes for Public Interest" Auction and Casino Night hosted by the Student Bar Association. This fun evening features casino-style games, and both a live and silent auction, plus craft beer, fine wine, champagne specials, and hors d'oeuvres with your favorite law school friends, professors and alumni.

All funds raised go to funding the law school's summer stipend program for students working in public interest internships.

Date: Friday, February 6, 2015
Time: 7:30 p.m. (casino games and silent auction open), 9 p.m. (silent auction closes and live auction opens)
Location: Altria Theater Grand Ballroom, 6 N. Laurel St., Richmond
Attire: Cocktail Attire
Parking: There are parking spots reserved in VCU West Main Street Parking Deck directly across from the Altria Theater. Student volunteers will be handing out parking passes until 8 p.m. After that time, there is parking available in the deck for a fee. There is also plenty of street parking.

  2. Purchase a sponsorship package, which includes marketing opportunities, tickets to the event, a VIP reception, and historical tour of the Altria Theater. Download and submit the Sponsorship Form by January 21, 2015 here.
  3. Can't attend? Donate directly to the summer public interest stipend fund. Please be sure to indicate that it is for the Law School's Summer Stipend fund.
