The following is the privacy policy for the University of Richmond Intellectual Property Institute (IPI) website.
Collection and Use of Personally Identifiable Information
When you fill out the form on the Sign Up page to receive information from IPI, we collect your name and email address and you have the option of providing your physical address, state, and zip code. We use this information to send you news and updates regarding intellectual property issues and IPI events. We do not sell your information to third parties or provide lists to third parties for commercial purposes. If you do not wish to receive information from us, you can unsubscribe by sending an email to ipiunsubscribe@richmond.edu, or by clicking here.
Occasionally, we use IP addresses (random numbers assigned to individual computers) to help diagnose problems with our servers, administer our website, and anonymously track traffic patterns. We do not associate IP addresses with personally identifiable information.
We do not use cookies to store your information. When you submit your information it is emailed to our staff and we take reasonable security precautions to ensure protection of your information.
