The Richmond Journal of Law & Technology spring membership competition is currently underway. The Editorial Board will announce the new staff April 14.
The Journal has been recognized for its outstanding work in the past year. legal.online, the first Internet periodical for lawyers, recently named the Journal as the best law review World Wide Web site for 1997.
In the March issue of the ABA press, Josh Blackman of the Internet Fact Finder for Lawyers, described the Journal as an "outstanding law related site."
Issues this year will cover topics like government regulation of the
Internet, copyright law on the World Wide Web, personal jurisdiction and
the Web, and unsolicited electronic mail. The Journal will also present
a symposium in early 1999, entitled "Are Traditional Legal Principles
Adequate for the Emerging Cyber Society?"
