Multimedia Services

The Law Library's multimedia services staff supports classroom technology needs for Law School events & activities.

Below are lists of available equipment and capabilities for Law School classrooms.

In addition to providing training and support for multimedia equipment installed in the Law School classrooms, Multimedia Services also provides these services:

  • Video recording and video production (for DVDs and online streaming);
  • Skype and videoconferencing support for meetings, job interviews, long distance teaching and guest speakers;
  • Training and support for Turning Technologies polling software;
  • Courtroom technology, including use of Sanction software for digital evidence display;  and
  • Projector and screen displays, microphone and portable PA systems, and other custom AV setups can also be provided in spaces not already containing this equipment.

To set up a training session or to use multimedia equipment, notify the Multimedia Services Coordinator at (804) 484-1618 or via e-mail at chamm@richmond.edu.

Law School Multimedia Services Regular Hours

Monday - Friday: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

After 4 p.m., the Multimedia Help Desk is open for questions and support from 4 p.m. - 9 p.m., Mondays - Thursdays,  and from 4-6 p.m. on Fridays.

Summer Intersession Schedule
Monday, July 23 - Sunday, August 19

Monday-Friday: 7:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: CLOSED

Library hours and special closing announcements are on the library hours phone line, (804) 287-6552, and are posted on the board by the library's entrance. 

Library closing procedures begin 15 minutes prior to closing time. All patrons should complete photocopying, return reserve materials, re-shelve books, and check out library materials at that time.
