Courses Taught Legal Writing
Professor Christopher Corts teaches in the area of legal research and writing. Prior to joining the School of Law faculty in 2013, Corts practiced law at Carlton Fields in Miami where he was a member of its Appellate Practice and Trial Support Group. While attending the University of Virginia School of Law, Corts completed internships at the Federal Public Defender's Office in Charlottesville, Va., and the United States Attorney's Office in Phoenix. He was named Hardy Cross Dillard Fellow for 2009-2010 and Senior Fellow for 2010-2011, received the Fulbright & Jaworski Best Memo award, was recognized upon graduation for his Pro Bono service commitment and served on the Virginia Journal of International Law's editorial board. Before going into law, Corts was a professional actor in New York and Los Angeles.
