Day four of Orientation included a lunch hour with faculty mentors and an afternoon at the mind, body, law wellbeing fair, where our 1Ls began acclimating themselves with campus resources.

This morning, our 1Ls heard from a lineup of accomplished speakers who shared insights drawn from their careers. The Hon. Randall G. Johnson Jr., L’98, delivered the keynote address, followed by Mary Crane’s presentation, The New Rules of Engagement.

From professional headshots and mock classes to building tours and lunch with section mentors, day two of Orientation gave our new Spiders countless ways to connect and prepare for life at Richmond Law.

Our 1Ls kicked off Orientation this morning by giving back across Richmond, between volunteering at Peter Paul RVA, Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, and on campus at Wilton Center making school lunches for middle schoolers. We’re so excited to see the Class of 2028 embrace service as a cornerstone of their Richmond Law journey.
