  • Profile

Meredith Martin joined the Law School in January 2022 as Director of Law Development.  In her position, Meredith manages annual philanthropic initiatives for the Law School including the 1870 Society for Leadership Giving. Meredith began her time with the University in 2018 in the Office of Annual Giving as Assistant Director for Class Giving. Prior to University of Richmond, she was with the Mid-Atlantic Affiliate of the American Heart Association as Director of Development for the Richmond Heart Ball.

Meredith is a graduate of Randolph-Macon College and is an engaged member of the R-MC community serving on the Young Alumni Board (2011 – 2021) and acting as class agent for the Class of 2010.  While she is a die hard Yellow Jackets fan, Meredith grew up with her grandfather (Henry Harris B’53) and mother (Mary Malone W’83/L’93) instilling a life-long connection to the University of Richmond and their beloved Spiders. Her affinity for UR and Richmond Law only grew as her husband, Ryan, completed his J.D. in 2018.

Meredith and her husband live in Midlothian with their son, Rory.  Along with her family, she enjoys the Richmond restaurant scene and watching basketball and ice hockey.  She spends her downtime needlepointing, listening to true crime podcasts, and musing over organization and design accounts on Instagram.
