Remembering Justice Antonin Scalia

February 15, 2016

The University of Richmond School of Law joins the nation in mourning the death of Justice Antonin Scalia.

"He helped me understand what it means to be a lawyer and to have intellectual courage," said Professor Kevin Walsh, who served as Justice Scalia's law clerk in 2003 and 2004. "Justice Scalia is an American hero. His example of spirited engagement will continue to inspire generations of law students.”

The University of Richmond School of Law witnessed firsthand Justice Scalia's generosity toward the next generation of lawyers when he visited the campus in 2010 for a day of mixing with students.
