Career Advising

The Law School and the Career Development Office consider career advising and related career services an integral part of students' legal education. We are here to assist you with one-on-one advising and will discuss your interests, past experiences, objectives, and ways to thoughtfully develop your career path. We will work with you to create an individualized job search strategy based upon your career aspirations.

For students who are exploring many possible career paths, we offer opportunities to learn and network with practitioners through regular Career Development programs and annual events like our Professional Round Table.

We also maintain a library of resources, including career-related books, guides, and handbooks, among many other excellent sources of information.

To request a one-on-one meeting with a career advisor, simply call us at (804) 289-8638, stop by, or e-mail us.
