  • Alumni Events and CLE

Law School alumni are invited to participate in a variety of alumni events through the Alumni Relations Office at the Law School (for law school alumni), as well as through the University of Richmond’s Alumni Office (for all Spiders).

Events include social and networking, cultural, sports, educational, and student-alumni events both in Richmond and throughout the country. Additionally, alumni are invited to participate in a variety of conferences, lectures, and symposia offering CLE credit throughout the year.

To stay up to date on all the happenings at the law school and never miss an event invitation, be sure that your contact information is correct in UR Online. If you do not yet have an account, follow the instructions below to sign up.

  • UR Online Alumni Portal

UR Online is a web-based community where you can search for and reconnect with fellow University of Richmond alumni.

As a member, you will have access to update your email preferences, register for events, check your giving history, and have free access to library resources like JSTOR. UR Online gives you exclusive access to the online Law Alumni Directory. Network and stay connected to other Spiders through searching by geographic location, job industry, or practice area.

To ensure the security of your information and that of others, your initial registration will need to be approved by a member of our staff before you can access the password-protected site. This is usually done within minutes but may take up to two business days during peak times. Thank you for your patience!

  • Career Development Office

The Law School’s Career Development Office is here to assist you as you develop your career and make professional and geographic moves. CDO advisors are available for one-on-one counseling, as well as resume and cover letter reviews. Career search resources are available in the office and online, and alumni may access job postings online through the Symplicity career management system. Visit the Career Development Office for additional information about career support for alumni.

Alumni can also use JSTOR, a collection of 2,000 academic journals. Access these resources through UR Online.
