Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program

The U.S. Department of Education recently announced some changes to the PSLF program that expand eligibility – and that may impact some of our graduates serving in the public sector.

Of note, the Limited PSLF Waiver may apply to you if you made ineligible payments toward your federal student loans. Additionally, if you have previously applied for forgiveness and been denied, the Department of Education has indicated that it will automatically review your denied application.

To take advantage of the program, eligible borrowers who have not previously qualified for PSLF must apply before October 31, 2022.
