Kara Thebeau

Kara Thebeau (she/her) is the Admissions Specialist at Richmond Law. After a career in hospitality leadership that shaped an approach centered on empowering teams, practicing inclusion, and building strong communities, Kara moved into human resources to focus more deeply on supporting personal and professional growth. Her work has centered on honoring diversity and inclusion, strengthening community spaces, and offering thoughtful, people-centered guidance to employees and the public. As a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Kara brings a genuine commitment to helping people build confidence, succeed in their work, and chart meaningful paths toward their goals. She carries this supportive, equity-minded, and growth-focused approach to her work with students as part of the admissions team at Richmond Law.

Kara enjoys fiddling, tinkering, and experimenting with new hobbies believing that if it takes 1000 hours to become an artisan, the first hour can start today! She can also be found lost in a good book or worldbuilding for role playing games.
