Allie Carter joined the University of Richmond School of Law in 2018 and presently serves as Associate Dean of Development & Alumni Relations, overseeing both philanthropic and alumni engagement initiatives for the Law School.
She earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Virginia and began her career in education, teaching in a Title One school for three years before making the transition to development work in 2015. She served in development roles at the United Way of Greater Richmond & Petersburg and Make-A-Wish Greater Virginia prior to joining the Law School team. She loves that development work is all about building relationships and empowering donors to create opportunity in our community.
A Richmond native, Allie and her husband live in the UR neighborhood with their new baby boy, Pierce and black lab, Millie. In her spare time, Allie teaches barre fitness classes and enjoys reading, cooking, and interior design.Expand All-
