Lieutenant Governor Debate & Town Hall

Justin Fairfax and Jill Holtzman Vogel, candidates for lieutenant governor of Virginia, participated in a debate at the University of Richmond School of Law on Oct. 5, 2017, sponsored by the Virginia Bar Association Young Lawyers Division.

Vogel, a Republican, is a state senator from Fauquier County. Fairfax, a Democrat, is a former assistant U.S. attorney. This was be the second time they have faced each other during the campaign season.

Bill Fitzgerald, evening anchor at WTVR CBS-Channel 6, served as moderator. Longtime Virginia political analyst Dr. Bob Holsworth assisted.
