Josh Kubicki

Profile
Professor Josh Kubicki is the director of the School of Law’s new Legal Innovation and Entrepreneurship program and is an Assistant Professor of Law. He researches, teaches, and speaks at the intersection of innovation, the practice of law, and the business of law. Over the last 20 years, Josh has merged his experience in fields of design, management science, and strategy execution to build services and products for business and legal teams large and small. He is a former Chief Strategy Officer for an AmLaw 100 law firm, worked in Verizon’s general counsel office, and has served as an adviser to CEOs of leading alternative legal service providers and legal startups. He recently co-founded and built the first business design studio focused on the legal market.
Professor Kubicki received his B.A. with honors in Political Science and minor in Sociology from Niagara University and his J.D. from the Columbus School of Law, Catholic University. He maintains his active license in DC.
