Profile
Professor Tamar R. Schwartz teaches Legal Analysis & Writing and Law & Literature. Prior to entering academia, Professor Schwartz served as the executive director of Legal Information Network for Cancer (now CancerLINC) and was a counselor at the Virginia Department of Employee Relations Counselors (now Office of Employment Dispute Resolution). She also practiced law in the Washington, D.C. office of Morrison & Foerster, focusing on intellectual property law, and served as counsel to the Congressional Caucus for Women’s Issues in the U.S. House of Representatives. Professor Schwartz serves on the Executive Board of the Section on Balance and Well-Being in Legal Education of the American Association of Law Schools.
