Law School hosts biggest ever orientation service project

The New Student Orientation at the University of Richmond School of Law kicked off with a bang this year. Over 125 volunteers gathered across five sites in Richmond on August 16 for the biggest orientation service project ever hosted by the Law School’s Carrico Center for Pro Bono & Public Service.

Students worked in the community garden to benefit Feed More and Meals on Wheels at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens; delivered and assembled beds as part of the Bridging RVA 150 Beds for 150 Kids Initiative; prepared classroom space at the Peter Paul Development Center; installed a new garden for Greater Richmond Fit4Kids; and created supply bags for teachers and birthday bags for Richmond-area kids with Celebrate RVA.
