Donor Spotlight: John and Lisa (Spickler) Ivins
November 18, 2024
The 1870 Society at the University of Richmond School of Law celebrates the school’s most generous donors, whose leadership gifts advance its mission of excellence. Among these dedicated supporters are John and Lisa (Spickler) Ivins, who credit Richmond Law with not only shaping their own careers, but also paving the way for future generations of lawyers.
“Our giving through the 1870 Society reflects our deep appreciation for the Law School and our belief that it provided us with an excellent foundation with which to serve our community as practitioners,” the couple shared.
Now, as their son Connor embarks on his own Richmond Law journey as a first-year student, the Ivins are more impressed than ever. “The Law School has grown in its ability to provide a stellar education and meaningful opportunities, especially through initiatives like summer public service fellowships,” they said.
The Ivins’ generosity ensures Richmond Law’s legacy of excellence continues to thrive.
