Law Clinical Opportunities in the Children's Defense Clinic and the Education Rights Clinic

October 21, 2013

Don’t miss out on the chance to gain practice experience and make connections which often lead employment opportunities. While participating in a clinic, law students assume the role of a lawyer, represent clients in court and at administrative hearings, enhance substantive knowledge of specialized areas of the law, hone lawyering skills, explore professional responsibility issues, and gain a better understanding of legal institutions. By the semester’s end, students often have a greater sense of purpose and express far more confidence in their own abilities.

Law student clinical experiences for the spring 2014 semester are available in the Children’s Defense Clinic and the Education Rights Clinic, which provide opportunities to represent children and their families as well as the organizations that represent their interests.

If you are interested and need an application please contact the clinic coordinator, Jessie Munn at jmunn@richmond.edu for further information.
