Richmond Law is pleased to celebrate faculty who were promoted this semester.

Congratulations to University of Richmond School of Law faculty who were recently promoted.

Professor Hayes Holderness, legal expert in the field of state and local taxation, was promoted to professor of law and was granted tenure. He joined the Richmond Law faculty in 2015.

Recent professional highlights:


Professor Da Lin, legal scholar in corporate governance, securities regulation, and financial regulation, was promoted to associate professor of law. She joined the Richmond Law faculty in 2019.

Professor Janice Craft, director of Professional Identity Formation, was promoted to associate professor of law, legal practice. She joined the Richmond Law faculty in 2020.

Professor Alexandra Silva, director of externships, was promoted to associate professor of law, legal practice. She joined the Richmond Law faculty in 2020.
